STORY

The Lumin is Changan's small electric city car, sold in China since June 2022. The body is 3,270 mm long on a 1,980 mm wheelbase. At launch the entry car had a 12.92 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery for 155 km at 48,900 yuan, and the other versions had 17.65 and 27.99 kWh packs for 210 and 301 km. On 16 August 2023 Changan launched a 205 km CLTC version with a 35 kW front motor, up from 30 kW on the first cars. In March 2024 a promotion took up to 12,000 yuan off the 49,900 yuan list price of the entry car, bringing it to 37,900 yuan.
