STORY
Chery announced the Arrizo 5e in May 2017 as an electric version of the Arrizo 5 sedan, with the same body and an e badge and a claimed 410 km of range. Pre-sale began on 20 July 2017 and the first car went on sale on 25 August 2017 at the Chengdu show, with 350 km on the NEDC cycle. A later version carries a 53.6 kWh battery, and Chery's Philippine distributor quotes 401 km on the NEDC cycle (CarNewsChina's database labels it CLTC) and up to 500 km at a steady 60 km/h. The Philippines introduced the car for order in August 2020.
