STORY

Arrizo 6 is the Brazilian name of the sedan sold in China as the Arrizo GX, which went on sale in October 2018. Caoa Chery announced it in Brazil on 24 June 2020, built at Jacareí in a single GSX trim at R$ 108,750, with R$ 98,400 as the launch price. It used a 1.5 turbo flex of 147 cv on petrol and 150 cv on ethanol, 21.4 kgfm, and a CVT simulating nine gears. When the facelifted Arrizo 6 Pro arrived in late 2021, this earlier car stayed on sale as the Arrizo 6 GSX. The Chinese GX's 1.5 turbo had been uprated from 147 to 156 PS in April 2019, while the Brazilian figures stayed at 147 and 150 cv.
