STORY

In Russia the Chery indiS S18D is a five-door hatchback with a 1.3-litre petrol engine of 83 hp (62 kW), listed in model years 2011 to 2014. It appears to be the car China knew as the Riich M1, which has the same 2,330 mm wheelbase and an ACTECO 1.3-litre engine; no source states the link outright. Chery showed the M1 at the Shanghai show on 20 April 2009 with 63 kW and a price of 42,800 to 59,800 yuan. In January 2011 Chery listed it anew at 38,800 to 60,800 yuan with a five-speed manual. CarNewsChina describes the M1 as built on the QQ3 base.
