Tiggo 7 Pro Max 1.5T

STORY

Chery introduced the Tiggo 7 Pro Max in South Africa in mid-October 2023 in three versions: Distinction 2WD at R529,900, Executive 2WD at R559,900 and Executive AWD at R609,900. In South Africa it swapped the Tiggo 7 Pro's 1.5-litre turbo for a 1.6-litre TGDI with 145 kW and 290 Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and added a 24.6-inch screen and a 50W wireless charger. Australia's Tiggo 7 Pro of 20 September 2023 appears to be a version of the same car, tuned to 137 kW and 275 Nm. In April 2024 the cheaper Premium grade arrived at R499,900 for front-drive and R569,900 for all-wheel drive, and in July 2025 the Pro Max was launched in Egypt with a 1.5-litre turbo of 145 hp.
