STORY
Chery first released official exterior photos of the Tiggo 8 on 2 February 2018, describing a seven-seat SUV due on sale in April. Presale prices ran from 100,000 to 141,000 yuan, and the car was presented at the Beijing show that opened on 25 April 2018. The 1.5-litre turbo, shared with the Tiggo 7, made 147 PS and 210 Nm with a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch. The body was 4,700 mm long, 1,860 mm wide and 1,746 mm high on a 2,710 mm wheelbase, with seats in a 2+3+2 layout. A new Tiggo 8 went on sale in Chengdu on 28 May 2019 with an added 1.6-litre turbo of 197 PS and 290 Nm.
