STORY

The Tiggo T11 is the first Chery Tiggo, the company's first SUV. Chery presented it on 22 March 2005, and in April 2005 The Auto Channel reported that domestic sales would begin in June and exports later that year. The launch engine was a 2.4-litre four-cylinder built under Mitsubishi licence, rated at 95 kW and 201 N·m, about 129 hp. Later the range added smaller petrol engines, and the 2.0-litre is listed at 125 hp or, in a later version, 136 hp, so the output depends on the version. It was offered with a five-speed manual or automatic, and after its 2014 facelift the Chinese car took the name Tiggo 3. The car is 4,285 mm long on a 2,510 mm wheelbase.
