STORY

The Aveo began as the 2002 Daewoo Kalos from South Korea and reached North America as a 2004 model with a Chevrolet badge. In the United States and Canada the first generation was sold through the 2011 model year. Its successor, the T300, was previewed at the Paris show in 2010 as the Aveo, a name Europe kept; in North America and some other markets it was sold as the Sonic, with US production at Orion, Michigan starting in 2011.
