STORY

The Blazer name has carried three different vehicles. The original K5 Blazer arrived in 1969 as a two-door full-size SUV on the C/K pickup chassis, and four-wheel drive was the only choice in its first year. A smaller S-10 Blazer followed in 1983 and added a four-door body in 1991. In 1995 the full-size truck became the Chevrolet Tahoe and the S-10 line continued as the Blazer until 2005. In 2019 Chevrolet revived the name on a five-seat unibody crossover.
