STORY

The Camaro is Chevrolet's pony car, introduced in 1966 (as a 1967 model) to counter the Ford Mustang. Across six generations it became a muscle-car and motorsport staple, offered in V6, small-block and big-block/LS V8 forms including SS, Z/28 and ZL1 performance models. After a 2002-2009 hiatus it returned in 2010, with the sixth generation ending production in 2024.
