STORY

The Chevrolet Alero was the Oldsmobile Alero sold in Europe and Israel from 1999 to 2001, with Chevrolet badges added to the grille and rear for the 2000 model year. The Oldsmobile was introduced in 1998 as a 1999 model, and European buyers could order it with a 2.4 four-cylinder or a 3.4 V6. It was the Oldsmobile that outlasted the European version: a dark cherry Alero sedan, one of a Final 500 run, left the Lansing plant on April 29, 2004 as the last Oldsmobile ever built, and workers signed it under the hood.
