STORY
The Chevrolet Master was sold from 1933 to 1942; it began production as the Eagle and was renamed Master midway through the 1933 model year. From 1934 Chevrolet offered Dubonnet-style Knee-Action independent front suspension on the Masters, and for 1937 the Master used a new six rated at 85 hp. From 1937 the base Master had a beam front axle, while the Master De Luxe kept Knee Action. A column gear shift came in 1939 as an option, the year the base car became the Master 85, and for 1940 Chevrolet sold the Master 85, Master Deluxe and Special Deluxe.
