STORY

The Cruze replaced the Daewoo Lacetti in Korea and launched there first, with the Korean version sold as the Lacetti Premiere. The first generation, code J300, ran from 2008 to 2016 on GM's front-drive Delta platform. For the US market the Cruze was built at Lordstown, Ohio, a plant that had run since 1966, and the last car there was built in the first week of March 2019, after GM had first given 1 March for the end of production.
