STORY
The Chevrolet Enjoy was an Indian-market MPV, a rebadged Wuling Hongguang from the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture, whose Chinese original dates from 2010. GM India launched it on May 9, 2013 as a seven- or eight-seater on a 2,720 mm wheelbase, with rear-wheel drive. Engines were a 1.3-liter diesel rated 77.5 PS and 188 Nm and a 1.4-liter petrol rated 104 PS and 131 Nm, with introductory ex-showroom Delhi prices from Rs 5.49 to 7.99 lakh. In results published in March 2017, Global NCAP gave the tested base car, sold without airbags, zero stars for adult occupants and two for children. Sources differ on when the Enjoy left the range, 2016 or 2017, and GM India stopped selling Chevrolets in December 2017.
