STORY

The HHR, short for Heritage High Roof, was a retro-styled wagon that Chevrolet built at Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, from 2005 for the 2006 through 2011 model years. It shared GM's Delta platform with the Cobalt, and its shape borrowed from late-1940s Chevrolet trucks such as the Suburban. A panel-van version with no rear seat joined the wagon. In 2007 Chevrolet revealed a turbocharged HHR SS at the Woodward Dream Cruise, rated at 260 hp. Production ended in 2011.
