LT 3.9 V6

STORY

The Uplander replaced the Venture minivan for the 2005 model year. The Venture's 3.4-liter V6 made 185 hp; the Uplander started with a 3.5-liter V6 rated at 200 hp and a four-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive was offered at first. A 3.9-liter V6 with 240 hp was offered from 2006 and became standard for 2007, and the all-wheel-drive option was discontinued. The 2008 Uplander kept the 3.9-liter engine and received only minor equipment revisions.
