200

2015 – 2017

The Chrysler 200 was a mid-size sedan and convertible built from 2011 to 2017, replacing the Sebring at the bottom of the lineup. The second generation of 2015 moved to the Fiat-derived CUSW platform and added a nine-speed automatic and a sculpted body. Sales stayed slow, and Chrysler ended the model as it pulled out of the passenger-car segment.

The Story

Why the 200 matters

The Chrysler 200 was a mid-size sedan introduced for 2011 as a heavily reworked successor to the Sebring. A convertible was offered in the early years. A fully redesigned second generation arrived for 2015 on the Fiat-derived CUSW platform, with a fastback profile and an optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with a nine-speed automatic. Slow sales led Chrysler to drop the 200 after the 2017 model year, as the company narrowed its lineup to the 300 and Pacifica.
