STORY
The Chrysler Fifth Avenue was a full-size luxury sedan, initially a trim of the New Yorker before becoming a standalone model in the early 1980s. The rear-drive M-body Fifth Avenue offered a padded landau roof, button-tufted velour interior and 5.2-liter V8 power, a typical example of traditional American luxury. It remained a strong seller into 1989 before being replaced by front-drive successors.
