STORY

The Chrysler PT Cruiser was a retro-styled five-door introduced for 2000, combining 1930s hot-rod cues with a tall, flexible compact-car interior. Built on the Neon platform, its versatile folding seats let it be classified as a light truck in the U.S., and it sold strongly and became widely recognized. A turbocharged GT and a convertible joined the range before production ended in 2010.
