STORY

The Visa was a supermini launched in 1978. It shared much of its platform with the Peugeot 104, and had both Citroën's air-cooled flat-twin and Peugeot four-cylinder engines. Early cars were known for a controversial 'satellite' single-pod control cluster and rounded styling, which was later toned down. The sporty GT and 16-valve Chrono/GTi versions were hot hatches, and the platform underpinned the 1000 Pistes rally car. Production ended in 1988.
