The Lanos (T100) was built from 1997 to 2002 as a sedan and as three-door and five-door hatchbacks. Giorgetto Giugiaro designed it. Engines ran from 1.3 to 1.6 litres. The Lanos was sold in the United States for the 1999 to 2002 model years. It was also built under licence in other countries, for example in Ukraine and Poland.
