STORY
The Atrai is the passenger and van version of Daihatsu's Hijet kei platform. It adapts the tall cab-over microvan into a more comfortable people carrier for leisure use. For decades it has been an affordable, space-efficient kei transporter for Japanese families and small businesses. Later generations added turbocharged three-cylinder engines and better safety equipment while keeping the compact kei size.
