STORY

The Boon is a subcompact hatchback launched in 2004. Daihatsu developed it jointly with Toyota, which sold it as the Toyota Passo. It sits just above the kei class and offers a roomy cabin and economical engines in a small, easy-to-park car for city and first-time buyers. The Boon has sold steadily in Japan and was the basis for the export-market Sirion.
