STORY
The Hijet is Daihatsu's kei truck and microvan, in continuous production since 1960 and one of Japan's main work vehicles. Its cab-over design fits a large load into the small kei size. It has served farmers, tradesmen and businesses for decades and has been rebadged many times. Later models added turbo engines, four-wheel drive and modern safety systems while keeping the same practical formula.
