STORY

The Materia is a boxy compact MPV, or tall hatchback. It succeeded the unconventional YRV and is closely related to the Toyota bB. Its upright, van-like shape gives plenty of headroom and flexible cargo space in a small footprint. It was sold in Europe and in Japan (as the Coo) to buyers who wanted practical, distinctive city transport.
