Volume Charger, shared with the SE: 3.6 Pentastar V6 at 292 hp / 260 lb-ft, rising to 300 hp / 264 lb-ft with the Rallye Group, and quoted at 300 hp for the final model years. The SXT name was introduced for MY2012, when the TorqueFlite eight-speed also became standard; the 2011 range ran SE, Rallye and R/T. All-wheel drive available.

STORY

The Dodge Charger began as a 1966 fastback and reached legendary status with the 1968-1970 B-body, whose Coke-bottle shape starred in film and NASCAR, including the winged Charger Daytona aero car. Dodge revived the name in 2006 as a rear-drive four-door on the LX/LD platform, culminating in the Hemi Hellcat sedans. For 2024 the Charger relaunched as the electric Daytona while retaining a combustion Sixpack option.
