STORY

Dodge showed the Hornet in August 2022 as a 2023 model, a small crossover built in Italy on the Alfa Romeo Tonale. The GT used a 2.0-liter turbo four rated at 268 hp on premium fuel, and the R/T plug-in hybrid, which reached buyers for 2024, paired a 1.3-liter turbo four with an electric drive for 288 hp combined and a 15.5 kWh battery. US sales were about 9,300 in 2023 and 20,559 in 2024, then 9,365 in 2025. In January 2026 Dodge said Hornet production had ended.
