Spirit R/T 2.2 Turbo III

STORY

The Spirit was Dodge's front-drive AA-body sedan, sold for the 1989 through 1995 model years and twinned with the Plymouth Acclaim. The Stratus took over the slot. Most were ordinary four- and six-cylinder family cars, but for 1991 and 1992 Dodge also offered the R/T, with a 2.2-liter Turbo III four whose 16-valve head was developed with Lotus. It was rated at 224 hp and 217 lb-ft and came only with a five-speed manual. The car listed at $17,820 in 1991, and about 1,399 were sold in the US.
