STORY

Dodge used the W prefix for the four-wheel-drive versions of its D-series pickups, and the light-duty W100 and W200 Power Wagon pickups date from 1957. The body introduced for 1972 replaced the 1960s Sweptline look with more modern styling and lasted until Power Wagon production ended in 1980. The Power Wagon name itself dated from 1945, when it was first used on civilian 4x4 trucks. The same body lived on until 1993 under the Ram name.
