The AX7 is a compact crossover from Dongfeng's Fengshen (Aeolus) brand. The first generation debuted at the 2014 Beijing show and went on sale in October 2014. A second generation arrived in 2018 with 1.5T and 1.6T turbocharged four-cylinder engines. From the 2021 model year the car carried the Aeolus badge instead of the Dongfeng logo, and later versions were called AX7 Pro and AX7 Plus.
