The 250 GT Lusso was a two-seat coupe: Pininfarina drew it, Scaglietti built it on the 2,400 mm wheelbase of the 250 SWB, and it was first shown at the Paris Motor Show in October 1962. Its 2,953 cc Colombo V12 was the engine family it shared with the GTE. RM Sotheby's puts production at about 350 cars by the end in 1964, while other sources say 351, and describes the engine as the ultimate 3.0-litre development of the Colombo V12. It followed the four-seat 250 GTE 2+2, which has its own page.
