STORY

The 250 GT Berlinetta SWB (short wheelbase) was introduced in 1959 with a 2400mm chassis for improved handling. Designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti, it competed as a dual-purpose road and racing GT with a 3.0-litre V12. It won numerous GT races and laid the groundwork for the 250 GTO.
