STORY

Ferrari began building the 456 GT in 1992 as a Pininfarina-designed four-seat coupe, replacing the 412. It was rated at 442 PS (436 bhp) with a claimed top speed of 186 mph. The 456 GTA, with a four-speed automatic gearbox, followed from 1996. In 1998 the car became the 456M, short for Modificata, with changes to aerodynamics and cooling, a refreshed interior and the same 442 PS rating. Zero to 60 mph took about 5 seconds.
