STORY

Launched in 1992, the 456 GT was Ferrari's return to a front-engined 2+2 grand tourer, powered by a 5.5-litre V12 driving the rear wheels. Styled by Pininfarina, it was offered with a six-speed manual (GT) or later a four-speed automatic (GTA). A revised 456M ('Modificata') arrived in 1998 with detail aerodynamic and interior updates, running until 2003.
