STORY

Revealed in 2013, the 458 Speciale was the hardcore, lightweight evolution of the 458 Italia, with its 4.5-litre V8 raised to 597 hp. It introduced active aerodynamics with movable front and rear flaps and Ferrari's Side Slip Control (SSC) traction system. A limited open-top 458 Speciale A (Aperta) followed, and the model marked the end of Ferrari's naturally aspirated mid-engined V8 line.
