458 Spider

STORY

Details of the 458 Italia was announced in July 2009, and Ferrari unveiled it at the Frankfurt show that September as the F430's replacement. The new 4,499 cc V8 is rated at 570 CV (metric horsepower, the same as PS) with a 9,000 rpm redline and drives through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Ferrari claimed 0 to 100 km/h in under 3.4 seconds and a top speed above 325 km/h. Dry weight is quoted at about 1,380 kg. The 458 Spider with a retractable hard top followed at Frankfurt in September 2011, and the 458 Speciale, rated at 605 CV, was shown there in 2013.
