The 2020 update of the 488 GT3 customer racer, homologated for GT3 competition with revised aerodynamics and cooling over the 2016 original. It retained the 3.9-litre (3902cc) twin-turbo V8 built for endurance and sprint racing. Ferrari supplied it to privateer teams contesting series worldwide.

STORY

The 488 GT3 was Ferrari's customer racing car built to FIA GT3 regulations, introduced for the 2016 season and prepared by Michelotto. Based on the road 488 but with a race-tuned twin-turbo V8, wider aerodynamics and a sequential gearbox, it became one of the most successful GT3 cars of its era. It scored major class wins including at the 24 Hours of Spa and Daytona, and an updated Evo version arrived in 2020.
