STORY

The 488 GTE was Ferrari's factory-backed endurance racer built to FIA/ACO GTE regulations, debuting in 2016 to contest the WEC and IMSA championships. Run largely by AF Corse, it replaced the 458 Italia GT2 and used a race-specific turbocharged V8 within tightly regulated performance windows. It took class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and multiple WEC GTE titles during its career.
