365 GT4 BB

STORY

Ferrari presented the 512 BB at the 1976 Paris Salon as the replacement for the 365 GT4 BB, and production ran until 1981. The name stood for five litres, twelve cylinders and Berlinetta Boxer. The flat-12 grew to 4,943 cc and Ferrari built 929 of them. Ferrari quotes 340 bhp, while RM Sotheby's and Bonhams catalogues give 360 bhp. Bosch K-Jetronic injection replaced the carburettors in late 1981 on the 512 BBi, built until 1984, and Pininfarina designed the shape.
