612 Scaglietti Sessanta

F137 · 2005–2006RWD

The 612 Scaglietti Sessanta was a 60-unit limited series marking Ferrari's sixtieth anniversary, built on the aluminium-chassis 612 grand tourer with its front-mounted 5.7-litre V12. Each car came only with the F1 paddle-shift gearbox and a two-tone finish, and added an electrochromic glass roof panel with variable transparency, forged 19-inch wheels and dedicated Sessanta badging. It was among the most exclusive versions of the four-seat 612.

STORY

The 612 Scaglietti, launched in 2004, was Ferrari's front-engined 2+2 grand tourer named after coachbuilder Sergio Scaglietti. Built on an all-aluminium chassis, it used a 5.7-litre V12 driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual or F1 automated gearbox. Its styling was inspired by a one-off 375 MM built for Roberto Rossellini, and it succeeded the 456M.
