ExteriorSTORY
The Dino 246 GT reached customers in 1969 as the successor to the 206 GT, with a mid-mounted 2.4-litre V6. It carried the name Dino after Enzo Ferrari's son Alfredino, and the cars wore Dino badges rather than the Ferrari prancing horse. Pininfarina styled the body and Scaglietti built it. Ferrari quotes 195 PS, about 192 hp. Production ran in three series, L, M and E. Ferrari's own figures count 2,487 coupes built from 1969 to 1974 and 1,274 open GTS cars from 1972 to 1974.
