Mondial 3.2 Cabriolet

STORY

The Mondial 8 was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 1980 as a Pininfarina-styled 2+2 with a mid-mounted 3.0-litre V8. The Quattrovalvole of 1982 added four valves per cylinder and lifted output to 240 PS, and the cabriolet, shown in 1983, reached customers in 1984. A restyled Mondial 3.2 followed in 1985. The late Mondial t put a longitudinal 3.4-litre V8 of 300 PS with a transverse five-speed gearbox, and was built into the early 1990s. All four versions together came to a little over 6,000 cars.
