Mondial Quattrovalvole

Mondial · 1980–1989RWD

The Mondial Quattrovalvole added four-valve cylinder heads to the 3.0-litre transverse V8, raising output over the earlier Mondial 8 for both the coupe and cabriolet. Pininfarina styled the 2+2 body, which offered rear seats and easy engine access on a removable subframe. It served as Ferrari's practical everyday model through the 1980s.

STORY

It evolved through several versions with growing displacement, from the early Mondial 8 and QV to the later 3.4-litre Mondial t. Both coupe and cabriolet body styles were offered.
