Mondial t

Mondial · 1989–1993RWD

The Mondial t of 1989 was the final and most developed version of Ferrari's mid-engined 2+2. Its name marked a new layout borrowed from Formula 1 practice: the 3.4-litre V8 was mounted longitudinally with the gearbox set transversely below it, the same 't' principle used on the 312T single-seaters. Power rose to 300 hp, and the lower engine improved the centre of gravity. It ran until 1993.

STORY

The Mondial was Ferrari's mid-engined 2+2 built from 1980 to 1993, designed to offer usable rear seats in a V8 Ferrari. It evolved through several versions with growing displacement, from the early Mondial 8 and QV to the later 3.4-litre Mondial t. Both coupe and cabriolet body styles were offered.
