The 133 was SEAT's car rather than a Turin design: SEAT showed it at the Barcelona show in May 1974 as a cheap rear-engined model on the floorpan and 843 cc engine of the 850, rated at 34 PS in basic form. It reached Britain in June 1975 and some other export markets under the Fiat name, since SEAT was little known there. SEAT stopped building it around 1980, while Argentina's Fiat plant made it as the Fiat 133 from 1977 to 1982.
SEAT-built Fiat 850-based small saloon of 1974-1980, sold as the Fiat 133 outside Spain.
