STORY

The Argo is a Brazilian-built Fiat hatchback. Fiat unveiled it in São Paulo on 31 May 2017 as the replacement for the Punto and the upper Palio models. It is built at Betim in Minas Gerais and sits on the MP1 platform. The engines are the 1.0 three-cylinder and 1.3 four-cylinder FireFly units, plus a 1.8 E.torQ in early cars, all flex-fuel in Brazil. It had 330,000 sales there by mid-2022, and a restyled Argo was presented in July 2022 with a new front end.
