STORY
The Brava was the five-door half of the Bravo and Brava pair that Fiat launched in September 1995 to replace the Tipo. The three-door was called Bravo. The two shared a 2,540 mm wheelbase and were voted European Car of the Year for 1996, Fiat's second win in a row after the Punto. Petrol engines ran from a 1.4 to a 2.0 five-cylinder HGT, plus 1.9 turbodiesels. The Brava stayed on sale in Europe until 2001, when the Stilo replaced it, and a Brazilian version was built until 2003.
