STORY
Fiat has used the Croma name for two unrelated cars. The first, a five-door liftback styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro, appeared in December 1985 on the Type Four platform shared with the Saab 9000, Lancia Thema and Alfa Romeo 164. It replaced the Argenta, and production ended in 1996 after about 440,000 sales. The second Croma was shown at Geneva in spring 2005 and went on sale in Italy that June. It was a tall estate-like car on an extended GM Epsilon platform shared with the Opel Vectra and Saab 9-3. Production ended in 2010.
