STORY

Fiat revealed the Grande Panda in mid-June 2024 as a B-segment car on Stellantis' Smart Car platform, the one under the Citroën ë-C3 and Opel Frontera Electric. The electric version has an 83 kW (113 PS) motor and a 44 kWh battery, and Fiat said it would start below 25,000 euros; France listed it at 24,900. Stellantis opened a test production line at its Kragujevac plant in Serbia on 22 July 2024, and by late January 2025 the plant was ready to start production. The 48 V hybrid, a 1.2 turbo three-cylinder with a 21 kW motor and six-speed eDCT, reached European buyers in May 2025 from about 19,000 euros.
