STORY
The Qubo is the passenger version of the small Fiat van family built by Tofas in Bursa, Turkey, with Fiat keeping the Fiorino name for the commercial models. The production line there was inaugurated in October 2007 with planned capacity of 158,000 vehicles a year, 45,000 of them for Fiat, 105,000 for Peugeot and Citroen together and 8,000 for Tofas, with Peugeot and Citroen selling the same body as the Bipper and Nemo. Vans were planned to reach Italian buyers at the end of 2007 and the rest of Europe in the first quarter of 2008, while the Qubo was expected at Fiat dealers in autumn 2008 at roughly 13,000 euros. Its passenger cousins were the Citroen Nemo Combi and the Peugeot Bipper Tepee.
